Amy Zhang张远远 and I were absolutely privileged to have visited Dwight School Seoul yesterday and spend time with the School’s inspiring Principal, Tom Ferguson and wider leadership team.

Dwight School has incredible ambition for its students, yet does so in a way that supports its staff to deliver what is right for its students.

Conversations with the School’s Heads of Primary and Secondary were truly inspiring. Tom’s style of leadership is very much one of growth and empowerment in his teams. He plays an active part in the life of the school – which itself hosts multiple events throughout the year.
Our key takeaway from this school visit was Tom’s desire to develop an outstanding school community and the extensive work the school is doing with its parent group. It was also how Tom’s core personal leadership mission is one in which he “wants people to succeed”.
A special ‘thank you’ to Tom, Serena Geddes Aguilar and Kyle Morgan for their time, passion and support, helping us to continue to develop our ongoing awareness of international school leadership.
